Traralgon–Technical Support & Field Services Role - Equipment Assembly, Servicing & Maintenance
We are looking for a practical, hands-on technically minded individual to join our team.
This role is well suited to a candidate with experience in electrical, plumbing, or related hands-on trades. A formal trade qualification is not mandatory, but practical expertise and strong problem-solving skills are key.
We are seeking a motivated individual to assist with the assembly, servicing, and maintenance of various electrical and mechanical systems on dairy farms. Including, but not limited to the servicing of dosing equipment, chemical pumps, diaphragm pumps & much more. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential—full on-the-job training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
This position is based in Traralgon, VIC, with field work primarily throughout Gippsland, and occasionally further afield, including possible interstate travel. All travel expenses are covered.

* Competence with hand tools and light power tools

Main Responsibilities
* Providing technical support to customers
* Responding to system alerts & troubleshooting issues
* Phone-based & remote technical backup
* Equipment Installations, servicing and maintaining equipment used on dairy farms
* Basic maintenance & fault finding of installed equipment
* Providing technical support through a combination of remote assistance & on farm visits
* Assembly of fluid-handling equipment
* General cleaning and maintenance of the factory area
* Connection of extra low-voltage wiring
* Assembly of light-duty fluid transfer hoses

Essential Qualities
· Experience in technical servicing (chemical dispensers and pump experience would be beneficial)
* Ability to work independently
· Ability to remain organised (organisation of your week to service and maintain equipment required for farm visits is critical)
* Commitment to servicing and maintaining equipment to company standards
· A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
* Self-motivated with excellent people skills
Desirable Requirements:
· Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Re-connect)
