Our client is looking for a Printing Officer to start at their site in Gordon, Sydney next week (by Wednesday 8th October!)
In this role, you will work closely with the Design team to produce high-quality marketing materials including posters, certificates, maps, and brochures. You will operate Minolta production printers, manage finishing processes like binding and laminating, and ensure all print jobs meet quality standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain high-volume digital printers (Minolta/Konica Minolta preferred) to produce marketing materials including posters, maps, certificates, bookmarks, and brochures.
Prepare print-ready files by checking formatting, colour accuracy, and layout in collaboration with the Design team.
Perform finishing tasks such as binding, collating, folding, laminating, and packaging.
Manage print consumables inventory and coordinate with external suppliers when needed.
Ensure quality control of all printed materials and troubleshoot basic printer issues.
Organise and track all print jobs to meet deadlines and maintain records.
Maintain a clean, safe, and effective print room environment.
Your Profile
At least 2 years’ experience as a Printing Officer in Australia, preferably with a local council or public sector background.
Hands-on experience using Minolta (or equivalent) digital printers.
Strong skills in print finishing, formatting, and quality control.
Ability to manage multiple jobs efficiently and liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
Available to start by Wednesday, 8 October.
