About the Role:

* This position is available to contribute to the teaching and learning experiences of postgraduate students in Psychology.
* As a Lecturer in Psychology, you will deliver high-impact teaching that sparks curiosity, deepens knowledge, and shapes future leaders through scholarly excellence.
* You will also have the opportunity to shape innovative curriculum and assessment strategies, and coordinate dynamic postgraduate units.
* Contribution to the supervision of provisional psychologists as they undertake their placements in University clinics or external placements is also expected.
* In addition, you will be part of the School's vibrant research culture by mentoring emerging scholars and driving impactful clinical research through collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver inspiring, high-impact postgraduate coursework teaching that stimulates student engagement and academic success.
* Develop and implement scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
* Coordinate postgraduate units, ensuring curriculum development meets the needs of students and the profession.
* Mentor and supervise provisional psychologists during their placements, providing guidance and support for professional development.
* Pursue impactful research initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to drive meaningful contributions to the field of Psychological Sciences.

Requirements:

* A PhD in Psychology or equivalent (e.g., Masters of Educational and Developmental Psychology and/or Clinical Psychology, along with supervision experience).
* Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching and learning, including postgraduate psychology.
* Ability to develop and implement scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
* Current registration as a Psychologist in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and Clinical and/or Educational and Developmental Psychology Area of Practice Endorsement.
* Commitment to impactful research that contributes meaningfully to the field of Psychological Sciences.
