Strengthen Aged Care Services That Matter
BRAMS is seeking a full‐time Aged Care Operations Manager to join the Community Services leadership team based in Broome, WA.
Reporting to the Aged Care Executive Manager, this is a newly created role established as BRAMS separates its aged care and disability services, creating a dedicated operational leadership position focused on strengthening aged care service delivery, workforce coordination, and client experience.
At the heart of this role is leading and supporting a growing team of Aged Care Support Workers and Trainees, ensuring they have the structure, guidance, and resources needed to deliver high‐quality, culturally responsive care across the community.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coordinating rostering, workforce allocation, and frontline service delivery to ensure consistent and effective care
* Acting as a central point of contact for clients, carers, and families regarding service feedback, concerns, updates, and complaints
* Supporting the delivery of Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Support at Home, and Transition Care Programme services
* Streamlining operational processes to ensure frontline teams have clear direction and clients receive consistent support
* Driving service quality, compliance, incident management, SIRS reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitoring service delivery data, billable hours, consumer budgets, and funding utilisation
* Supporting accreditations, audits, and governance activities across aged care operations
* Building collaborative relationships with internal teams, hospitals, community organisations, and external stakeholders
* Promoting culturally safe, person‐centred care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care

Bring Your Leadership, Care, and Experience
To qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in aged care, nursing, social work, community services, health, or a related field, or significant equivalent leadership experience. You will also need at least 2‐3 years' experience in a leadership or management role within aged care, health, community services, or a similar operational environment.
Additionally, the following skills and experience will be highly valued:
* Experience leading frontline support workers or community‐based teams
* Strong organisational, rostering, and workforce coordination skills
* Experience managing complaints, feedback, and service‐related issues
* Strong computer skills and confidence using different systems and programs
* Understanding of culturally safe practice within Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs)
* Strong communication, relationship‐building, and problem‐solving skills
* Experience using My Aged Care, ACAT, Single Assessment System, or similar aged care platforms
As the ideal candidate, you will be calm, approachable, empathetic, and accountable, with the ability to stay composed when priorities change or challenges arise. You will enjoy working collaboratively within an established team environment, building positive relationships, and providing practical day‐to‐day leadership that supports both staff and clients with professionalism and care.
