Maintenance Manager

What We're Looking For
* Strong leadership
* Pervious experience in general maintenance tasks
* Experience using hand and power tools
* Organisation, planning and execution of short and long‑term projects
* Confidence in managing contractors, suppliers, trades and a small team of young workers
* Tech familiarity, basic skills in Microsoft 365
* Effective communicator (written, verbal and digital)
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and implement preventative maintenance schedules
* Perform regular site inspections and address reactive maintenance issues promptly
* Coordinate external contractors and trades as required
* Perform hands‑on repairs and maintenance to a high standard
* Oversee the manual handling, delivery and storage of stock, including bulk liquor
* Lead, train, and support a small team of casual employees
* Produce a weekly schedule (roster) for yourself and a small team of casual employees
* Hire and performance manage your teamMaintain compliance with Workplace Health & Safety standards
* Conduct routine safety checks and hazard identification
* Maintain high presentation standards across public‑facing areas
* Perform manual handling tasks and operate machinery and cleaning equipment safely
Requirements
* Excellent communication skills with internal teams, contractors and suppliers
* High attention to detail
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting to 20kg, kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals/machinery
* Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical assessment
* First Aid Certificate
* Working at Heights Certificate
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
