About the organisation:
We’re a long-standing community services organisation supporting people right across Central Queensland. From city centres to remote communities, our mission is to walk alongside individuals and families facing complex challenges such as homelessness, housing instability, financial hardship, and disadvantage. Our values are grounded in dignity, respect, and cultural safety, and our team is passionate about building pathways to safe housing and stronger communities.
About the role:
As a Homelessness Case Manager, you’ll provide vital support to people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or struggling to sustain their housing. This role is all about building trust and working alongside participants to create case plans that are practical, person-centred, and sustainable. You’ll support people across a variety of settings, including homes, temporary accommodation, supported housing, and community spaces, always ensuring services are delivered with dignity, persistence, and respect.
In this role, you’ll assist participants with immediate crisis needs while also helping them access housing, health, financial, and specialist support services. You’ll advocate on their behalf, connect them with education and employment pathways, and foster opportunities for social and community participation. Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with tenancy teams, local services, and government departments to ensure participants can not only access safe housing but sustain it long-term.
