We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Underground Service Locator. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in underground utility detection and radar technology who are looking to advance their career.
This exciting opportunity involves operating and maintaining GPR equipment, conducting utility locating, subsurface scanning and mapping activities, performing DBYD and Telstra accredited locating tasks, analysing radar data, interpreting and producing detailed site reports, collaborating with clients and project teams, mentoring and training less experienced team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in ground-penetrating radar technology and utility locating techniques, knowledge of underground utilities and subsurface infrastructure, ability to use vacuum excavation trucks and trailers, proficiency in reporting and data management using digital tools, strong organisational, communication and customer service skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You will be working on a wide range of projects, including commercial building and infrastructure set out, feature surveys, earthworks, civil construction, high-rise, steel structures, deformation monitoring, SMP, laser scanning, UAV, underground utility detection and concrete scanning.
