Location: Perth, Western Australia (with travel to the Kimberley)
Employment Type: Part-time (20 - 25 hours per week)
Remuneration: $130,000 per annum FTE (pro rata for 20–25 hours per week).

A Kimberley based corporation is seeking an experienced and community‐minded Events Coordinator to lead the end‐to‐end planning and delivery of culturally significant events in Kimberley region.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead full life‐cycle event coordination: proposals, budgets, schedules, equipment lists, staffing and logistics
* Oversee on‐site operations, ensuring smooth delivery and culturally safe practices
* Manage registration, ticketing, invitations and attendance processes
* Maintain strong communication with clients, Elders, community members, partners and funding bodies
* Promote events through social media and community notice boards
* Secure funding and sponsorships from both government and private entities
* Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, reporting and data collection
* Experience in event coordination / project management / Business development
* Strong organisational, communication and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Experience with event promotion, registration systems and logistics
* Willingness to travel for work
* Experience living/working in remote Aboriginal communities
* Demonstrated experience working respectfully with Aboriginal communities
* Understanding of local cultural protocols and governance structures
