About your new job
Working in a broad scope and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Bank and general ledger reconciliations
* Month-end journals, Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
* Assist with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax
* Maintenance of Fixed Assets register
* Profit & Loss analysis
* Assist with Forecasting & Budgeting
* Cash Flow analysis
* Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple branches and departments
* Provide support to the Finance Team on any ongoing projects
* Assist with the preparation of annual audits
* Ad-hoc tasks as required
About You
You will either be an up-and-coming Assistant Accountant with the ability to provide support in a variety of functions or an experienced Financial Accountant looking to put into practice your knowledge and prior experience.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have exposure in the following:
* Previous experience in a similar position; however, some training will be provided.
* Previous exposure in month end processes
* Strong Knowledge of Excel
* Strong communication skills as well as attention to detail
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Exposure to large ERP systems
* Degree qualified
* Completed/enrolled/currently studying towards CPA/CA
