About the role
We are seeking a motivated Lawyer withat least 2 years post-admission experience to joinour Government and Administrative Law team in our Newcastle officeon a full-time basis.
Due to the continued rapid growth of our national CommonwealthGovernment practice, we are looking for a capable and committedlawyer to strengthen our Newcastle-based team.
The role will primarily involve merits review work, with astrong focus on NDIS access and planning matters under the NationalDisability Insurance Agency (NDIA), including regular appearancesin the Administrative Reviews Tribunal (ART). In addition, the teamalso handles general insurance compensation claims on behalf ofinsurer and government clients.
You will be part of a supportive and friendly team environment,working closely with an experienced Partner and Newcastle basedteam, supported by our National Government practice group.You'll play an integral role in progressing matters whilecontinuing to grow and refine your skills through ongoingmentoring.

About you
To thrive in this position, you will be:
* A qualified Lawyer or Associate with at least 2 years PQE,preferably with experience in NDIS, statutory schemes ortribunal advocacy.
* Genuinely interested in government, administrative, andregulatory law.
* Skilled in litigation, negotiation, and clientcommunication.
* Motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines andcase requirements confidently.
