Job Overview
This key role will play a pivotal part in the growth of our State and Local Government Process Risk and Controls Practice.
Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement operational procedures to enhance Grant Administration effectiveness.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant industry thought leadership to share with clients.
* Develop management-level relationships with elected leaders, directors, and agency heads.
* Implement foundational industry policies, procedures, and work-programs for associates.
* Cultivate process-level client relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders.
* Prepare initial drafts and follow-ups on client request lists.
* Participate in risk assessment management interviews, updating risk models and completing initial drafts.
* Conduct tests of operating effectiveness for clients' internal controls.
* Draft test plans or work programs for senior team review.
* Create/review narratives or flowcharts for processes, identifying and reviewing risks and controls.
* Review staff work for accuracy, completeness, and well-reasoned conclusions.
* Manage budgets and provide analysis of estimates to engagement leaders.
* Complete status documents for client delivery.
* Prepare initial drafts of reports.
Experience in government risk consulting, including project-based work with milestones and workflows driven by objectives and timelines, is required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering results in fast-paced environments.
