About the role
Clarity Dental is seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team in our Bendigo, VIC clinic. As a Receptionist/Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. We are mainly looking for someone with experience in managing the reception in the dental/medical clinic settings. The role offres flexibility around full time or part time engarement, which can be negotiated with the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
* Be the front face of the practice and create a welcoming environment
* Managing patient records, scheduling appointments and other reception duties as needed.
* Ensure that appointments and dentist schedules are managed efficiently
* Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
* Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by handing them instruments, mixing materials, and maintaining a sterile work environment
* Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
* Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies
* Working closely with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
* Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and regulations
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience as a Receptionist and/or Dental Assistant (Preference will be given to candidates who have front desk/reception experience)
* A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team
* Proficiency in using dental equipment and software - (preferred but not essential)
* A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
