The RoleAs a valued member of our team, you will:
* Lead and manage a room/team of educators, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in the room.
* Supervise, mentor, and support educators, including allocating tasks and responsibilities.
* Foster strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
* Monitor and document children's learning and development, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
* Maintain compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS), centre policies, and regulations.
* Manage routines such as meals, rest, and transitions effectively.
* Engage families through open communication about children's progress and room activities.
* Support inclusion and meet the needs of individual children, including those with additional needs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education)
* A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Sound knowledge of the NQS and EYLF
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts (including opening/closing)
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* A commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive practice
* A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
