This respected public sector organisation is modernising its enterprise applications to better support future growth and service delivery. As part of their cloud-first strategy, they're transitioning Microsoft Dynamics from an on-premise environment to the Azure cloud. With a major migration project underway and permanent hires being sourced, they're seeking an experienced contractor to hit the ground running and help stabilise and support the CRM platform in the cloud.
Your new role
You'll step in as a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Developer for an initial six-month contract, guiding the transition from the on-prem version to Dynamics in the cloud. You'll be the go-to resource on Dynamics 365, helping the team adapt to the cloud environment and supporting business-critical modules, particularly CRM. In addition, you'll bring your knowledge of broader Microsoft technologies, and your ability to contribute to solution design and system integrations.
What you'll need to succeed
* Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with hands-on experience in cloud-hosted environments
* Prior involvement in migration projects from Dynamics on-prem to cloud versions (desirable)
* Familiarity with Azure development practices and cloud platforms more generally
* Knowledge of integration techniques and patterns-particularly relating to Azure Data Factory (ADF) is highly regarded.
* Bonus points for experience with SharePoint, Power Platform, or broader Microsoft 365 tools
* Ability to work independently, provide guidance to internal developers, and contribute to documentation and handover
