Overview
Director, Health Information Services at Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS).
As Director, Health Information Service, you will manage the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of health information services for CHQ HHS, including Clinical Records management, clinical data management, Corporate Records management, Clinical Coding and Health Information Access services in both paper and digital environments. In this role you will create systems to sustain high quality delivery for children, young people and families (Leader of Leaders) in accordance with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework, Queensland Public Service values and CHQ values.
Your contribution will include:
* Lead the strategic and operational planning of the Health Information Service, including the execution of departmental strategies and plans to enhance the service in line with CHQ values and Strategic Plan.
* Plan, organise, direct, and evaluate the operational management of all facets of health information management including Clinical Records, clinical data, Corporate Records, Clinical Coding and Health Information Access services for the whole CHQ HHS.
* Maintain high-level knowledge of developments in health information/records management to provide expert advice to the Executive and clinicians on matters relating to health information management, Corporate Records management, and patient/clinical information systems.
