Your role
Youth Justice is looking for an innovative and dynamic Provisional Psychologist, Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychology and Allied Health Services team in the Far West Youth Justice Community Team. Working as part of a team you will:
1. Advocate for the psychosocial health needs of Aboriginal Young people, their families and community in a holistic and culturally sound manner.
2. Operate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering psychological assessment, intervention, and therapeutic services.
3. Provide a consultancy service to staff regarding the psychological needs of Youth Justice clients within custodial and community locations, as well as advice to statutory authorities such as the Parole Board.
