We are partnering with an ASX listed healthcare organisation that is currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join their motivated and dynamic team for a 6 week temporary assignment.
This role would suit a self-starter with a proven ability to work independently. Using your initiative and excellent communication skills you will be able to influence without authority to ensure relevant stakeholders are engaged and adhere to company deadlines.
You will have strong payroll processing skills having previously worked in a busy payroll environment. Ideally, you will a background in health or allied health and if you've used HR3 payroll system you will be highly regarded.
You will be responsible for processing >850 staff on 1 award, with approx 100 of the 850 on corporate autopay. The complexity in the pay process is they have a number of contractors and this is a manual process and heavily relies on MS Excel to manage, so excellent MS Excel knowledge is essential.
The organisation runs fortnightly pay, and you will be required to work from the office in East Melbourne on Monday and Tuesday and rest of week can be from home.
