About the Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Nuclear Medicine Scientist to join a reputable organisation while expanding their PET/CT skillset. We are seeking a full-time team member for our Mackay clinic someone committed to excellence, patient care, and continuous professional growth. At our high-performing Mackay PET/CT site, you'll be part of a supportive and experienced team delivering exceptional imaging services to the region. Working with a Siemens Biograph MCT in a modern, well-equipped facility, you'll benefit from the strong sense of community, lifestyle advantages, and affordability that regional Queensland is known for. Key Responsibilities
First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
Perform a range of PET/CT procedures to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
About You
Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
High attention to detail.
A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
