About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate female Support Workers to join our accommodation division in Newcastle (Warners Bay). These permanent part-time roles involve supporting residents in a female-only house, which is an inherent requirement of the position.

About You
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with personal care tasks such as grooming and toileting.
* Demonstrate resilience with the ability to de-escalate episodes of challenging behaviours.
* Rosters are available to work across various shifts, including split shifts, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and active wake shifts.
* Collaborate effectively within a team and work autonomously when required.
* Maintain accurate records and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience supporting individuals living with disabilities.
* Resilience in managing challenging behaviours.
* Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Willingness to assist with personal care as needed.
* Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in sector highly regarded or a willingness to obtain one.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates, or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
* Valid driver’s license.
* A comprehensively insured and registered vehicle.
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
