RETAINING WALL FOREMAN - IMMEDIATE START
Our current project requires the expertise of an experienced Retaining Wall Foreman to oversee and coordinate our construction team in the installation of concrete sleeper walls.
This role requires handson expertise in building retaining walls, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate project logistics effectively.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operations onsite, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, organise and supervise the construction of retaining walls on project sites
* Be able to read and interpret plans and schedule the daily operations of the team
* Coordinate and direct a team of retaining wall builders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and crew to ensure projects are completed to the required standards
* Monitor project progress and report to management regarding timelines, workforce, and resource needs.
* Identify and resolve any issues that may arise
* Assess project site conditions and provide technical guidance on materials and construction methods.
* Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the construction process
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and engineering specifications.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in retaining wall construction
* Strong knowledge of various retaining wall systems
* Must have excavator, posi and loader tickets and experience
* Thorough understanding of retaining wall construction techniques, materials and building regulations
* Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
* Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage a team
