Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Impairment Specialist to join our Impairment Benefits Team within the workers compensation / insurance space.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end impairment assessments, primarily supporting Second Entitlement Period (130-week) reviews, while also providing broader support across impairment benefit claims as required.
You'll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and partner closely with tail-end claims teams to ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and high-quality outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end impairment assessments across a portfolio of claims
* Support 130-week (Second Entitlement Period) reviews
* Provide guidance and support on impairment benefit claims
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive quality decision‐making
* Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
About You
* Previous experience in workers compensation or insurance claims management
* Strong understanding of impairment assessments and claims processes
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* AMA4 training (preferred but not essential)
