In this role, you will provide professional human resource advisory and operational support services across the business to ensure workforce capability, compliance and employee engagement objectives are achieved. You will play a key role in supporting HR initiatives across multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams operating in dynamic and fast‐paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate recruitment and selection activities including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews and supporting onboarding processes.
* Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases and personnel documentation in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.
* Provide advice and support to managers and employees on workplace relations matters, performance management, disciplinary procedures and HR best practices.
* Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing HR policies, procedures and workforce planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Coordinate employee induction, training and development programs to support workforce capability and compliance requirements.
* Support employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives across the organization.
* Assist with occupational health and safety coordination and ensure HR practices comply with relevant employment legislation and industry standards.
* Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics and documentation to support management decision-making and project staffing requirements.
* Facilitate effective communication between management and employees to promote a collaborative and productive workplace culture.
* Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational performance and employee experience.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline or at least 5 years relevant experience.
* Minimum one year of experience in a human resource advisory or generalist role.
* Previous experience within engineering, construction, mining, oil & gas or infrastructure sectors will be highly regarded.
* Experience in recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning and HR policy implementation.
