The Theatre Manager role is a key position within the Performing Arts facilities, overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the theatre. This includes coordinating venue bookings, managing technical and resourcing aspects for events and performances.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of casual staff and subcontractors
* Maintain all technical equipment in the Performing Arts facilities and ensure high levels of Occupational Health and Safety
* Manage bookings for events and performances, prioritizing the needs of the school
* Model and live the school's values and behaviours
Requirements:
* Ability to manage the day-to-day workflow in an intelligent and flexible way
* Production and stage management experience, including lighting and audio systems, rigging safety practices, and venue and facilities management
* High level of knowledge and skills in setting up audio, lighting, stage, and other relevant stage management equipment
* Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders, make decisions, problem solve, and resolve conflicts in a mature and professional manner
* Experience leading a team, with excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills
