Electrical Supervisor: A Key Role in Facility Commissioning
Job Summary:
This role requires a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee the commissioning and startup of facilities.
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and support to ensure smooth operations, participating in work planning, material management, quality control, and environmental safety & health.
Based on a Karratha site with a 2-1 FIFO roster, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure technical direction during commissioning and startup activities.
2. Prepare Startup Work Packages and Test Work Packages for assigned areas of responsibility.
3. Coordinate turnover walkdowns and interface with the Field Engineer as required.
4. Track field purchases and other requirements using procurement systems.
5. Perform walkdowns to validate system configuration and conduct testing to assure conformance with specifications.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of startup, operation, maintenance, or testing, including engineering systems and applications of computers.
* Broad knowledge of industry standards and design criteria pertinent to plant operations.
* Skill in oral and written communication.
