We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Education Quality and Integrity Directorate (EQID) as Manager – Educational Quality and Academic Integrity.
In this role, you will ensure CQUniversity maintains the highest standards of educational quality and compliance across both sectors. You will oversee quality assurance initiatives aligned with TEQSA, ASQA, CRICOS and other regulatory frameworks, lead development of the University's educational quality framework, and manage audit, compliance and accreditation activities. A key focus is championing academic integrity through strategies, policies and investigations that position CQUniversity as a sector leader in detection, prevention and response to breaches.
You will manage the VET Quality Unit and Academic Integrity Unit, ensuring policies, procedures and systems meet academic standards and legislative requirements. Responsibilities include compliance registers, benchmarking, regulatory submissions, misconduct investigations, and mentoring staff for professional development.

Position Requirements
* A relevant degree with at least four years of subsequent experience, or extensive expertise in academic misconduct and integrity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Familiarity with tertiary education regulatory bodies and the ability to implement policies and procedures surrounding academic misconduct into University teaching and learning practices.
* Proven experience investigating and reporting academic integrity matters within the tertiary education sector.
* An understanding of current academic misconduct issues, trends and strategies in both higher education and the VET sector with the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues across the University.
* Successful assessment of a Fit and Proper Person Declaration under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Compliance Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and Fit and Proper Person Requirements) Instrument 2025.
