Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Instrument Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site EH&S, community policies, systems and procedures.
\
The successful candidate will execute electrical/instrumentation work as per schedule following work instructions as directed by the Team Leader. They will respond to plant outages and equipment failures in a timely manner to maximize plant availability and safety.
\
The technician will ensure work is executed to the highest standard and history is recorded in the relevant maintenance recording system for future reference. They will initiate creation and updates to work procedures and instructions to ensure they are accurate and effective.
\
The successful candidate will report incidents in a timely manner and participate in analysis and investigations as required. They will build strong relationships with the Operational, Reliability and Planning Teams to support the delivery of quality maintenance and equipment availability.
\
Additionally, they will work with internal/external customers to support feedback and continual improvement programs. The technician will support work management processes through efficient defect reporting, adequate scoping of corrective works and accurate confirmation of execution activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
\
The successful candidate will have demonstrated commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork. They will possess sound problem-solving skills and fault-finding experience with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
\
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical maintenance activities associated with industrial equipment including kilns, ball mills, belt filters, cloth filters, centrifuges, and boilers. They will have experience fault finding and performing various maintenance activities with PLC's, Burner Management and Control systems.
\
They will also have experience maintaining a variety of modern electrical, instrumentation and control equipment. Knowledge and understanding of SAP systems is desirable.

Qualifications / Education:
\
* Australian recognized Electrical trade certificate
* A Grade Electrical License.
* Certificate IV in Instrumentation
* Confined Space
* Working at Heights
* Current WA Driver's License C Class minimum.
