Job Responsibilities
* Having 5+ years of experience as a senior Oracle DBA.
* Designing HA and DR solutions for PaaS services such as Exadata, Autonomous Databases (ATP, ADW), RAC, and Data Guard.
* Installing and upgrading Oracle and RAC on Linux/AIX platforms across versions 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c.
* Implementing Oracle ASM/ACFS.
* Automating DBA tasks through scripting.
* Using backup utilities like RMAN, EXPDP/IMPDP, CRSCTL, SRVCTL, and backup tools like NetBackup and Networker.
* Applying patches for grid and database using PSU in standalone and multi-node RAC environments.
* Communicating effectively in speech and writing.
* Performing database and SQL tuning for Oracle and RAC databases.
* Managing Oracle OEM 12C/13C.
* Engaging with customers regarding operational issues and activities.
* Configuring and troubleshooting physical standby databases using Data Guard broker.
* Configuring and troubleshooting GoldenGate replication components.
* Fine-tuning and troubleshooting database tables.
* Implementing backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
* Administering database objects like tables, clusters, views, procedures, etc.
* Analyzing impacts of database changes and design modifications.
* Understanding advanced architectures such as Multi-Node, RAC, ASM.
* Following core support processes, change management, and documentation standards.
* Performing database tuning, including I/O, load analysis, ADDR, AWR, and SQL profiling.
* Handling installation, upgrades, patches, support requests, tuning, cloning, and support in a 24/7 environment.
