About you

Appointments in the CCC are merit-based and will be assessed by looking at what you have done previously—the knowledge, skills and experience you have built, your potential for development, and your personal qualities which align with the leadership competencies and the CCC\'s values.

* Possession of tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or Accounting from a recognised tertiary institution and current membership of, or eligible to become a member of, either Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA Australia are mandatory requirements of this role.
* Certificate IV in Government Investigations is highly regarded.
* Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the .

For this role, we will consider how well you demonstrate the following:

* Demonstrated ability, or the ability to rapidly acquire skills and knowledge, to undertake financial investigations in a law enforcement environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with external stakeholders and effectively work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to apply an inquisitive mindset to look for and analyse complex financial and non-financial evidence, make high quality decisions and professional judgments and to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to present complex financial and non-financial information concisely to non-financial audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to present financial information for use in legal proceedings is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks as a member of an investigative team, demonstrate initiative, adapt to change and re-prioritise tasks where required to meet operational needs.
