We are looking for a motivated individual to join the production team as a Laser Operator and Maintenance Technician, and develop into an expert laser operator. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The typical shift is 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday. Some start/finish time variation, overtime and weekend work may occur as required.
About the role:
As a Laser Operator your duties include, but are not limited to
- Learn how to load, set-up and run the lasers and CNC equipment for all common products.
- Setup jobs and efficiently operate the lasers as per the production schedule
- Perform in-process checks to maintain the required product specification and quality
- Fault find and trouble shoot to resolve issues
- Use power tools to perform pre and post drilling operations
- Maintain clean and efficient work area
- Inspect the quality of screens produced
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly maintenance routines
- Develop skills to "expert" level, and be able to complete R&D; experiments and trials
As a Maintenance Technician your duties include:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on lasers and other equipment around the factory
- Responding to breakdowns and fault finding
- Liaising with supervisors and managers to schedule maintenance work
- Managing maintenance history records and technical information
- Assessing the extent of maintenance works needed, purchasing parts, equipment and services
The role is permanent, full time based in Hornsby, NSW. You must be available to work in the morning and afternoon shift, overtime if required.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
