About the role
WesTrac is seeking an experienced and customer‑focused Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) to support our expanding customer base across Dubbo, Mudgee and the Central West. This full‑time Monday–Friday role offers flexibility, regional travel, and a fully maintained company vehicle. Based at either our Dubbo or Mudgee branch, you'll spend much of your time on the road building strong relationships and providing trusted support to customers.
In this role, you'll manage an established customer portfolio across areas such as Dubbo, Mudgee, Parkes and Orange, identifying opportunities for aftermarket parts, service and support. Working closely with internal teams and a diverse range of customers—from owner‑operators to local councils—you'll deliver tailored solutions while driving account management, new business development and high‑quality product support throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering reliable, proactive product support to customers in the region.
* Identifying and developing new sales opportunities across industries, including civil, commercial engines, construction, and local government.
* Promoting WesTrac's range of Caterpillar parts, service programs, and support offerings.
* Managing your customer portfolio to ensure exceptional service and ongoing engagement.
* Supporting our regional growth plans through effective business development.
* Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and other sales support functions.
What You'll Bring
* A trade qualification and solid industry experience in sales, parts, or service.
* Proven capability in driving sales growth or managing customer accounts.
* Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
* Confident problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical abilities.
* A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
* Computer literacy—MS Office, CRM, and general sales systems.
* Desirable: Knowledge of Caterpillar products.
* Desirable: Experience in construction or heavy industry sales.
