Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics) to join our team across several locations in Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, and Wagga Wagga). Your role In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems; Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment; Maintaining thorough records of actions taken; Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and; Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment. The essential requirements 3 years experience on SAAB 340 (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft); Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical or Avionics); Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components. Strong team player; Ability to follow supervisory direction; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Consistent positive and proactive attitude; Passion for safe work practices; Valid work visa; Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and, Current Australian Driver's licence. International candidates will be considered for sponsorship. The Wagga role is a 5-day-only position (alternatively 4 days on, 3 days off), with no weekend work and no shifts past 6:00 PM. For Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide, the roster follows a 7-day shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off.
