Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunshine Coast, QLD, for Contaminated Land Professionals. In this role, you will conduct site assessments, perform risk analyses, and contribute to environmental data collection and analysis, including soil, water, and ecological studies. You will also prepare environmental assessment reports and develop comprehensive CLID, SAQP, site-based management and mitigation plans. This role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives to deliver projects on time while ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in environmental assessment, including soil, water, and gas investigations
* Experience in creating site-specific contaminated land investigations
* Proficiency in risk assessment, project management, and compliance with environmental laws and regulations
* Ability to critically review technical and environmental studies and compile comprehensive impact assessment/management reports
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within teams
* Experience in working on environmentally-focused projects is a plus
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
* Proficiency in relevant software tools and GIS systems is desirable
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
