Overview of the Role
As a Designer at BRX, you are responsible for delivering high-quality creative assets across digital and print channels, supporting the execution of brand and campaign work with precision and consistency.
You will work closely with internal teams to bring ideas to life through strong visual execution, while maintaining high standards of finished art and production. This role requires a detail-oriented and motivated designer who is confident in managing multiple tasks and contributing to a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

1. Design and Finished Art Execution
* Execute high-quality retouching and image editing (colour correction, clean-up, compositing)
* Create and adapt assets across digital and print channels
* Prepare finished artwork to production-ready standards, including print-ready files
* Apply strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy principles across all outputs
* Ensure all creative aligns with brand guidelines while contributing fresh ideas
2. Collaboration & Workflow
* Collaborate with design, creative, account, and internal teams on design projects
* Interpret briefs and translate them into effective design solutions
* Participate in feedback loops and iterative design processes
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Communicate clearly on progress, timelines, and potential risks
3. Quality Assurance
* Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all deliverables
* Review and check artwork for accuracy, consistency, and quality
* Ensure all files meet technical and production specifications
* Uphold brand consistency across all outputs and channels
4. Process Support & Innovation
* Follow and support established creative workflows and processes
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ways of working
* Contribute ideas to enhance creative output and production processes
* Stay up to date with design tools, trends, and best practices
5. Experience & Skills
Core Skills & Experience
* 2-3 years of professional design experience
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Demonstrated experience in retouching with high attention to detail
* Ability to produce both digital and finished artwork (pre-press knowledge a plus)
* Working knowledge of Figma for digital design and collaboration
* Solid understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
* Ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing creative input
