About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to contribute as an active member of the maintenance team, delivering high-quality turf management and course presentation.
Reporting directly to the Superintendent and Assistants, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting course setup for competitions and daily play
* Participating in overtime and weekend roster as required
* Operating and maintaining turf machinery and equipment
* Preparing and maintaining playing surfaces to a high standard
* Assisting with irrigation, pest, weed, and disease management
* Carrying out general greenkeeping and course maintenance duties
* Contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-presented work environment
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* Current driver's licence
* Full working rights in Australia
* Physically fit with a strong work ethic
* Availability to work a rotating weekend roster
* Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (essential)
* Positive attitude with a team-first mindset and willingness to get stuck in
Highly desirable:
* Previous golf course experience
