Are you passionate about music education and teaching? We are seeking a skilled Saxophone Teacher to work 1 day per week at our Summer Hill campus (the day of the week is flexible). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students across different skill levels and guide them in their musical journey.
**What's involved...**
- Deliver engaging individual and group music lessons.
- Prepare and manage students undertaking public music examinations.
- Organise and conduct rehearsals, sectionals and performances of the School's performing groups.
- Liaise with parents and provide feedback about their child's progress.
**We are looking for...**
- Strong teaching experience, ideally within a school context.
- Experience and willingness to teach the AMEB syllabus in addition to Jazz Studies.
- Undergraduate degree and/or professional Music qualifications.
- Patience, creativity and an ability to engage and motivate students, fostering their love for music.
- A covering letter and copy of your current Resume, including 2 professional references.
- Compliance requirements needed prior to employment include: NSW-Working with Children number, valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009), and Office of the Children's Guardian Child Safe eLearning Certificate.
