Rose and Crown Hotel 'WA's Oldest Hotel' is seeking another passionate and highly skilled Chef to join their committed established kitchen team -with new kitchen developments opening soon.
Looking for grill/ pans/ larder chef/s however will rotate through the kitchen and learn and work in multiple sections. The position will report direct to the Exec Chef / Sous Chef and will work to support the creation, implementation and development of menu items.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Ability to deliver exceptional and consistent food to guests
* Able to learn and work multiple sections (incl grill/ pans/ larder/fryer) and operate daily kitchen services
* Follow directions and work in a team as well as be able to work autonomously
* A strong eye for detail
* Supervise junior members of the team when required
* Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and adhere to inhouse policies and procedures and legislative requirements
The right candidate must be trade certified with min 2 years experience as a chef in a fast paced, high volume kitchen and a desire to work with high quality food, be comfortable in a fast paced environment and be passionate about our philosophy and seasonal fresh produce. This position requires weekend and evening shifts.
In return we offer remuneration based on experience and a roster including balanced lunch and dinner shifts. Onsite parking available, close to public transport.
