Job Summary
This role involves performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on a mobile fleet of vehicles and equipment in accordance with established guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy machinery, including Scania, Mack, Isuzu trucks, watercarts, rollers, and graders, while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out regular maintenance and repair tasks on the mobile fleet and other equipment as per documentation.
* Access relevant technical information from reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM systems, and computer-based resources.
* Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained across all work areas.
* Provide technical assistance to staff and operations personnel as required.
* Conduct thorough inspections and job estimations to ensure efficient operations.
About You
* Automotive Trade (Light Vehicle Mechanical) or equivalent qualification is essential.
* Post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry is highly desirable.
* Experience in vehicle air conditioning systems would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of general maintenance, breakdowns, component change-outs, and servicing of Toyota vehicles is beneficial.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment is crucial.
