About our Wellbeing Division
We are not the biggest EAP provider in Tasmania. Nor do we want to be. Our mission is to help our clients more forward with whatever is happening with them, as well as proving a respectful, caring and fun environment for our staff. We are respected and know within the Tasmanian business community as providing a fast, efficient and highly professional service offering, a service that our client's employees want to engage with. Our offering includes urgent staff wellbeing response (critical incident), staff wellbeing recovery support, EAP services, psychological first aid, training and development. Our client base is increasing, and due to the success of a recent tender with a large Tasmanian institute we are now looking to engage with qualified counsellors, psychologists, and social workers.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in EAP or mental health services.

The role
Peopleworks EAP is currently recruiting for EAP Mental Health Clinicians to provide a wide range of short-term counselling and psychological services to support individual wellbeing. Services are delivered face-to-face or online and include counselling, coaching, critical incident management, conflict management, psychological assessments, and training services to individual employees and to workplaces.
· Providing EAP counselling, coaching, supervision and training.
· Provide counselling aimed at the early identification and/or resolution of both work and personal problems that may adversely affect performance.
· Provide counselling within a time-limited context.
· Provide support to deliver Peopeworks training programs where required.
· Arrange referrals to other services for clients requiring specialist and/or long-term support and interventions.
· Provide on-site counselling support and critical incident response as required throughout Tasmania.
· Candidates require the ability to work flexibly across a range of programs and have high-level time management and organisation skills.
What we are looking for
· Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling, with eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association.
· Current AHPRA registration, ACA, AASW or PACFA membership
· Minimum 3 years' experience in the provision of supervised short-term counselling to a diverse client group
· An understanding of workplace and organisational dynamics and factors impacting upon people performance
· Experience within trauma-informed interventions.
· Demonstrated understanding of workplace intervention strategies, including facilitated discussions and workplace behaviour coaching.
· Possesses a high level of administration, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Current National Police Clearance
· Working with Children's Card or willingness to obtain one.
