About the role
A fantastic opportunity currently exists for a passionate and highly motivated individual ready to take the next step in their international hotel career. The Executive Assistant Manager will be responsible for improving the business process and guest satisfaction. The focus of this role will be to work closely with the hotel's General Manager to drive continuous improvement, cultural change and actively contribute to guest reviews and most importantly employee development across our diverse range of food and beverage offerings and rooms division.
Reporting to the General Manager at Stamford Grand Adelaide, this position is operationally 'hand's on' in all aspects of the hotel including identifying and implementing training and development, as well as ensuring the highest standard of service and creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and coaching teams to excel.
Control and analysis of customer satisfaction, quality, cost percentages and payroll costs.
Contribute to strategic planning.
Cooperate, coordinate and communicate closely with other internal departments as required
Ensure product presentation is maintained to the highest standard possible, including the presentation of employees, and the overall appearance of outlet and/or function.
Devise initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met.
Control of labour costs through monitoring of employee to guest ratios and strategic roster management.
About you
Previous experience in a similar leadership role with a proven track record in hotel management.
A real go getter, who can think on their feet.
Demonstrated experience in employee training and development.
Passionate about people, food and wine.
The ability to manage and meet financial objectives.
Previous exposure to cost management and budgeting.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate others to achieve business objectives and goals.
A high level of personal presentation and grooming.
Good computer literacy skills.
Current Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol.
The ability to obtain a Responsible Person Badge.
