What's the opportunity?
As a Senior Integration Architect at Telstra Health, you will shape the future of digital healthcare by leading the design and delivery of seamless, standards-based integrations that enable true interoperability across complex health systems. Your work will directly impact how healthcare providers connect, collaborate, and deliver exceptional care through innovative technology solutions.
What can I expect?
* Design and lead scalable, standards-based integration architectures that enable seamless healthcare interoperability.
* Apply healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA) to deliver secure and reliable data exchange.
* Drive API-led integration design, creating reusable and composable APIs to reduce point-to-point integrations.
* Design and build integrations leveraging MuleSoft and Salesforce Health Cloud
* Build and optimise integration solutions across cloud environments (e.g. AWS), using modern integration and event-driven patterns.
* Ensure integration designs meet security, privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements.
* Work with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define integration scope and priorities.
* Evaluate architectural options with a balanced view of cost, performance, scalability, and risk.
* Clearly document and communicate architectural decisions, patterns, and standards.
About you:
- Proven experience in software, integration engineering, or solution architecture within healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade integration solutions across complex, distributed systems.
- Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS and/or Azure) with a security-first mindset.
- Experience with MuleSoft, including API-led connectivity, design governance, and runtime operations.
- Experience integrating with Salesforce (e.g. Health Cloud, Service Cloud, or custom Salesforce solutions).
- Strong architectural judgement with the ability to influence technical direction and mentor others.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
