Your role at St John of God Ballarat
To purpose of the position is to provide administration, workload scheduling and assignment, contract management, procurement and accounts payable within the engineering/facilities department of the hospital.
The Position- Provides all administrative support for the Facilities department.- Completes written correspondence, documentation and reports as requested.- Overseas all contractor engagement processes and daily induction requirements.- Overseas the distribution and management of staff, contractor and VMO building access management, including registers for keys and access cards.- Maintains stock levels of consumable supplies as required, ie medical gas, chemicals, high turnover equipment.- Support delivery / loading dock and backup as required during times of absence/quiet times.- Administratively support development and oversight of divisional contracts, tenders, quoting, and general purchasing; maintaining high accuracy in record keeping and system data entry.- Liaise with regional and Group contracts team for centrally managed contracts.- In collaboration with divisional leadership develop routine maintenance schedules in organizationally defined systems
