Our Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) team is at the forefront of technology and innovation to help our clients imagine their business, solve the most complex business and technology problems and help them accelerate their transformation journey. We are currently hiring Senior Consultant within our Public Sector practice in Canberra for the following areas of expertise:

What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant within our technology practice, you will provide exceptional client experiences leading teams in applying our methodologies to deliver our core services. As a leader and role model, expect to:
Build strong trusted client relationships through daily interaction with senior clients to deliver exceptional client experiences
Lead teams to deliver services in line with expected quality and financial expectations
Foster and promote an environment of inclusion
Day to day management of your teams including their professional development
Consult with Deloitte leadership and broader Deloitte network
Build out your area of expertise through development of market eminence and internal coaching.
About the team
Our dynamic Canberra TS&T team sits as part of a connected national and APAC team. It is responsible for answering the most challenging client problems: how can Technology strategy enable a business to deliver outcomes; how do we select and design technology to enable growth; how do we structure their enterprise and domain architecture functions; how to solve complex business and technology problems; and how to execute technology-led transformations. Enough about us, let's talk about you.
You are someone with 5-6 years' experience in a client facing/advisory role, either in-house or in a Consulting environment.
In this role you will take responsibility for shaping, leading and delivering added value through technology advisory and consulting experience. We expect applicants to have a degree of experience in the following areas:
Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale transformation projects with the ability to drive change, analyse and resolve risks and issues and manage tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience in project management, including establishing project management functions, agile delivery and strategies, frameworks or tools
Demonstrated strong client engagement skills, with experience of working with executives, building trusted relationships and managing scope and client expectations.
Strong sense of team and passion to develop others as well as self, and demonstrable experience in mentoring and coaching a team of junior members
Proven track record in navigating through complex organizations, and with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives through to their successful conclusion
Ability to relate business problems to the technology teams and communicate how technology provides business solutions
Prior IT Advisory experience within a Consulting environment or context
Experience delivering high quality, creative and insightful technology advice
Certification or experience applying Scrum master, SAFe, PRINCE2 or equivalent methodologies.
