We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our market‐leading Corporate M&A team in Sydney. This will be a job share role working three days a week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
This opportunity will suit a dynamic individual who thrives working in a fast‐paced legal environment. Experience within a transactional practice area (such as Corporate or Financial Services) will be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinating communications and relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders
* Overseeing efficient file management and document organization
* Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
* Handling billing processes, time coding, and preparing detailed reports
* Organizing comprehensive travel arrangements, including flights and accommodation
Required skills and personal attributes
* Outstanding organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
* Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
* Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
