Staff Specialist Maternal Fetal Medicine Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Staff Specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The role is focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic and consultative services in maternal fetal medicine.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide specialist services in the Women's Babies Department, participate in teaching, research, education, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the department and hospital. They will also contribute to the advancement of RPA's High-Risk Obstetrics and Maternal Medicine and fetal intervention services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality specialist services in maternal fetal medicine
* Participate in teaching, research, education, and quality improvement activities
* Contribute to the development of evidence-based guidelines for managing complex medical conditions in obstetrics
* Enhance collaboration with obstetric physicians to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
* Registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) with recognised qualifications in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) or currently in the final year of the MFM training program
