The role

We are seeking on behalf of our client a talented and motivated International Freight Sales Executive . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the Australian-Vietnamese trade relationship.

About the Company

Our client is a leading provider of logistics solutions, connecting Australian food and beverage producers with the vibrant Vietnamese hospitality market. With a deep understanding of both markets, the company is uniquely positioned to facilitate the export of high-quality Australian products to Vietnam.

Responsibility
  • Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's services, competitor offerings, and market conditions with a focus on air freight logistics.
  • Develop and maintain a list of current and prospective client bases using directories, industry networks, and other sources.
  • Contact current and prospective clients to identify sales opportunities and promote air freight services, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of customers.
  • Assess customer requirements, and perform the highest level of customer service to both clients and external business partners to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any problem arising.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to offer clients profitable solutions with a focus on domestic and international freight products and services.
  • Quote and negotiate rates contract terms, follow-up, and close sales contracts until provision of services, ensuring all relevant documentation is filed and completed accurately.
  • Proficient in pricing, proposal, and creating effective proposal presentations.
  • Follow up with clients after sales to maintain customer relationships, ensure satisfaction, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Drive a sales plan strategy to meet monthly sales goals and initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager,and maintain accurate records of business expenses and sales activities.
  • Willing to adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics.
Requirements
  • 03+ years of proven experience in sales within the freight/logistics industry with a focus on air freight operations
  • In-depth knowledge of plane specifications, cargo space limitations, air regulations, and flight routes.
  • Understand business strategy markets (Vietnam and Southeast Asia) and experience in expanding operational networks.
  • Excellent customer relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to assess and respond to client needs.
  • Proficient in using sales management and logistics software to track orders, manage client data, and report on sales activities
  • Ability to strategically and effectively analyze and pursue opportunities to deliver continuous growth to the company.
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
What we offer

An attractive remuneration package from $74,000 to $85,000 plus super awaits the successful candidate and the chance to be a part of a caring and close-knit team.
