Events Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled Events Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve coordinating and executing events across the hotel, building client relationships, and working collaboratively with sales and food & beverage teams.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Handle sales enquiries efficiently and issue quotes and contracts promptly using Envision software.
* Communicate effectively with clients before, during, and after events.
* Conduct site inspections of the hotel and follow up on sales leads.
* Prepare event orders for various hotel departments in a timely and accurate manner.
* Process event charges and invoices.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in event sales, preferably in a 4-5* hotel or resort environment.
* Strong understanding of conferencing and events.
* Ability to identify business opportunities and create solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong numeric and literacy skills.
* Effective presentation and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
