Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping individuals navigate complex rehabilitation plans and achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with treatment providers, including doctors, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. You will be responsible for providing clinical opinions and justifications through report writing, attending various workplaces on a weekly basis to learn about physical demands and responsibilities, educating workplaces on how to manage and prevent workplace injuries, and collaborating with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with treatment providers to ensure optimal recovery outcomes for clients
* Provide clinical opinions and justifications through report writing
* Attend various workplaces to learn about physical demands and responsibilities
* Educate workplaces on how to manage and prevent workplace injuries
* Collaborate with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary Allied Health Degree required
* AHPRA or ESSA registration
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
* Pride yourself on stakeholder management and communication skills
* Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans
