About the Role

We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to provide day‑to‑day operational assistance and support to our fabulous team in Cessnock. Working closely with your team you'll ensure exceptional service to our customers who are the lifeblood of the electrical industry in Australia!

Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring customers receive friendly and the best possible service.
- Building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, training to create an inclusive and harmonious work culture.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures and further enhance a strong WH&S; culture.
- Work closely alongside the team and Branch Manager to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.

About You

- Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, with a passion for sales and operational excellence.
- Enthusiastic, ambitious and have a strong desire to learn and build a career with us.
- Previous experience in leading or mentoring a team desirable.
- Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience highly regarded.
