We're partnering with a growing Australian business operating in the financial services and mobility space (novated leasing). The company works with employers across Australia to deliver a highly valuable employee benefit that helps individuals access vehicles in a smarter and more tax-effective way. The business has built strong employer relationships and a solid operational foundation.
The next phase of growth is focused on improving how they engage employees within those organisations, strengthening digital reach, customer journeys and lifecycle marketing to drive higher conversion and retention. This is a newly defined Marketing Manager role that will sit within the leadership team and take ownership of the company's digital growth strategy.
The Opportunity
A significant portion of this business's target audience sits within "hidden" employee segments. These are workers who are often difficult to reach through traditional digital channels. Many work in industries such as healthcare, retail, logistics and field-based roles where:
* Work email access is limited
* LinkedIn usage is low
* Traditional employer communications are inconsistent
The challenge is identifying and reaching these audiences using first‐party data, segmentation, behavioural insights and targeted digital engagement. Rather than relying purely on paid acquisition, the role focuses on using data and digital tools to uncover and engage these hidden audiences, build trust over time and convert them when the moment is right.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the digital growth strategy across acquisition, conversion and lifecycle marketing
* Identify and reach target audiences using data, segmentation and martech capabilities
* Optimise the digital customer journey from enquiry through to conversion and remarketing
* Design lifecycle communication strategies across onboarding, engagement and renewal
* Leverage marketing automation and CRM platforms to improve customer experience and performance
* Partner closely with sales and relationship teams to strengthen messaging, case studies and customer proof points
* Analyse data to identify opportunities for growth, retention and improved engagement
* Lead and mentor a Marketing Coordinator while working with external creative and technical partners
* Collaborate across product, operations and leadership teams to support broader commercial objectives
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong digital capability with commercial marketing thinking. You might come from financial services, education, fintech, SaaS, e‐commerce or other complex product environments where education and trust are important in the purchase journey.
You'll likely bring:
* 8–12+ years' experience across digital marketing and growth
* Strong understanding of customer journeys, lifecycle marketing and conversion optimisation
* Experience using marketing automation or CRM platforms (HubSpot experience highly regarded)
* A data‐driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into practical marketing strategies
* Experience working across multiple channels including email, content, organic and targeted digital campaigns
* Confidence working cross‐functionally with sales, operations and product teams
* A pragmatic approach — someone who can both develop strategy and execute
