We are looking for a passionate and hardworking **Coordinator Assets **to join our team at Singleton Council. In this role, you'll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for Singleton to grow and flourish.

**THE ROLE**
You will lead a team responsible for long term management and planning of Council's Infrastructure assets through development of asset management framework for Council's Seven asset classes ( Water, Sewer, Roads, Drainage, Buildings, Open space and Reserve and Transportation)
In addition, you will coordinate Council's capital works program development (1, 4, 10 years) for Infrastructures assets and ensure assets being planned and developed meet requirements in terms of the scope and quality outputs. You will also have significant input into the Long Term Financial Plan.
**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or related field
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of asset management, including life-cycle principles and prioritisation processes
- Ability to provide expert advice that is substantiated by sound research and knowledge of legislative, professional standards and industry best practice
- Demonstrated contemporary experience in strategic asset planning across a wide range of asset classes
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing significant infrastructure grants
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder consultation and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and review systems and processes, and implement positive changes
- Proven ability to analyse information and prepare reports, briefings and presentations for decision-making.
- Established experience and the ability to lead, manage, coach and support staff to achieve the work targets and objectives of the section.

This position is offered on a **permanent, full time** basis working **35** hours per week.
Remuneration for this position is based on **Grade 15** of the salary system which equates to a base salary between **$106,437 and $119,726** per annum plus superannuation, vehicle allowance and civil liability allowance.
